Last week my daughter spent hours creating carniva Last week my daughter spent hours creating carnival games for a fair in our living room. This game was my favorite. She placed in front of these bears an array of small, hard toys a contestant would use to knock over as many bears as possible: two Transformers, a Match Box car, a ball, and a little pink and white plastic toy Amber, an ambulance from the not-so-great TV program Robocar Poli. The goal of this carny game, as you may suspect, is to knock over as many bears as you can with available projectiles. We played several rounds to good effect. The bears are basically fuzzy beanbags so we found a strike to the body sometimes only slumped the animal halfway over into a sort of recline. The key to this game, it seems, is the headshot. Every day with children a learning experience…
